As the first black person in the world to earn a postgraduate degree in the emerging field of Fashion Psychology, Shakaila is no stranger to firsts.

 

In our conversation Shakaila shares how from a young age she'd always had this belief that she was destined for something great. It's that same belief (and her support system) that empowered her to make the jump from 9-5 to entrepreneur as she's shaped a successful career in Fashion Psychology, without the reference points we so often crave.
